Hi, I’m Gemma, the heart and hands behind Cheshire Party Planner Ltd. I believe every celebration should be joyful, stress-free, and unforgettable—no matter the budget. Whether you’re planning a wedding, private party, corporate event, or children’s celebration, I’m here to bring your vision to life with creativity, care, and attention to detail.
I started this business because I love seeing people come together to celebrate life’s special moments.

How My Journey Began
My love for event planning started more than a decade ago, when I was planning parties for family, friends and my own wedding. However, my defining moment came seven years ago when I was 8 ½ months pregnant, I got my first client and planned a fairy-themed, first birthday party. The joy and magic of that day confirmed what I already knew—this is what I was meant to do.
Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to crafting memorable celebrations, from weddings and corporate events to birthday parties and milestone gatherings. No two events are ever the same, and that’s what I love about what I do!
My background and experience spans every aspect of event planning—from catering and entertainment to venue styling and logistics—so there isn’t much I haven’t done or learned along the way.
Extensive Experience
With over 20 years of experience in the entertainment and events industry, I’ve had the pleasure of planning a wide range of celebrations across Cheshire and beyond. When I launched Cheshire Party Planner Ltd, seven years ago, I started with what I knew best—children’s parties. As a qualified teacher and a mum, I understood exactly what it takes to create fun, engaging, and stress-free celebrations for little ones. Parents lead busy lives and I recognised a need for not only having someone to help to organise the party, but actually having someone their on the day to act as a host, so the parents can actually soak up the precious moments of their child’s special day.
As my business grew, I expanded into weddings, milestone birthdays, corporate events, and charity fundraisers, bringing my creativity and organisational skills to every occasion. From baby showers to large-scale corporate balls, I’ve planned it all!
It is a true honour to be invited into someone’s special day, and it’s not a job I take lightly!

60th birthdays, engagement parties, and joint celebrations, like a vibrant 21st & 40th birthday party with colourful lanterns, festoon lighting, and custom flower ice for the Champagne buckets.
